HIGHLIGHTS: Catch the action from the Sprint in Austin as Verstappen takes victory
Max Verstappen added to his extensive tally of wins in 2023 by sealing another victory in the Sprint at the United States Grand Prix, having put in an assured performance after an early challenge from Charles Leclerc off the line.
The Dutchman made a good start from pole position, putting in some solid defensive driving to keep Leclerc at bay, before holding on to his lead throughout the 100KM event. Meanwhile Leclerc lost a place to Lewis Hamilton and finished P3, with the Mercedes driver taking second at the Circuit of The Americas.

Lando Norris claimed P4 ahead of Sergio Perez in fifth, while Carlos Sainz – who made gains on the opening lap after being the only driver in the field to start on a set of used soft tyres – ended the event in sixth.
It was an eventful start to the race, with numerous battles playing out throughout the field. Sainz fought with the McLarens of Norris and Oscar Piastri in what proved to be a difficult outing for the Australian, while Aston Martin duo Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll had a duel of their own.
