Oscar Piastri won a thrilling race in Baku to bag his second career Grand Prix victory in Azerbaijan, finishing ahead of pole-sitter Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
Piastri pulled off his second audacious overtake in two races, this time a late lunge catching Leclerc by surprise. He then had to deliver a defensive masterclass to deny the Ferrari man, before plenty of late drama.
Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz collided on the penultimate lap to ensure the race finished under VSC conditions as Lando Norris was promoted to fourth, a brilliant recovery drive for the Brit after starting 15th on the grid.
He came home ahead of title rival Max Verstappen, who struggled throughout the race with car set-up blamed for his lacklustre performance.
F1 Nation host Tom Clarkson is joined by Sky Sports F1 presenter Natalie Pinkham, ESPN journalist Juan Fossaroli and Oscar Piastri’s race engineer Tom Stallard to debrief all of this and more.
They also discuss the advance of the rookies, with both Franco Colapinto and Oliver Bearman scoring for Williams and Haas respectively, as Williams bagged double points to leapfrog Alpine for P8 in the constructors'.
