Last week Sauber announced that they had signed up Gabriel Bortoleto to race alongside Nico Hulkenberg at the Swiss team next season.
The 20-year-old reigning F3 champion is currently leading the F2 championship with two rounds – in Qatar and Abu Dhabi – to go, and will be driving for Sauber in 2025, and in 2026 when the team rebrands to become the Audi works outfit.
