F1 TV will continue its evolution in 2026 with a series of new upgrades, an expanded presenter line-up, and enhanced regional offerings that reflect Formula 1’s ever-growing global fanbase.
As the sport enters a new season under the 2026 regulations, the platform builds on the success of last year with improved language options, greater accessibility across markets, and innovative formats for fans to experience the sport.
In 2026, F1 TV will once again offer fans comprehensive access to every Grand Prix, Sprint, Qualifying and practice session live in 4K Ultra HD/HDR. Coverage of F2, F3, F1 ACADEMY and Porsche Supercup also returns, enabling fans to follow the full breadth of Formula 1 and its support series across each race weekend.
This season, F1 TV will introduce several new features and regional expansions, including the launch of Latin American F1 Live commentary, offering tailored coverage for Formula 1’s growing audience, specifically in the region. The platform has also recently debuted its Japanese‑language commentary and a fully localised user interface, while F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium will launch in South Korea for the first time, expanding access across another dynamic and growing Asian market.
In the US, F1 TV is changing. Apple – Formula 1’s new Official U.S. Broadcaster – will host F1 TV included for free within its Apple TV subscription, streamlining access for fans and enhancing the overall fan experience. The F1 TV broadcast team will also primarily front Apple TV’s English-language coverage, bringing their established expertise and insight to a wider US audience.
These updates mark the latest phase in F1 TV’s continuous development following the introduction of F1 TV Premium, F1’s premier content offering in 2025. The platform continues to evolve alongside F1 TV Pro, offering multi‑camera access, team radio and in‑depth data overlays and was recognised last year when it won ‘Platform of the Year (Rights Holder)’ at the SportsPro Media Awards – a reflection of F1’s commitment to delivering a bespoke, personalised viewing experience to fans.
In 2026, F1 TV will once again guide fans through every session with its world class broadcast team. Presenter Laura Winter will be joined by six-time IndyCar race winner and Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame inductee, James Hinchcliffe, F1 correspondent Lawrence Barretto, and well-respected paddock voice, Chris Medland.
Former W Series race winner, Alice Powell, and presenter, Ariana Bravo, also return as part of the expert team. Commentary will be led by Alex Jacques alongside former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer, supported by previous Head of Race Strategy, Ruth Buscombe, 13-time F1 race winner, David Coulthard, 2012 GP2 Champion, Davide Valsecchi, European Le Mans Series Champion, Alex Brundle, and Technical Analyst, Sam Collins.
New to the team this year are seven-time Formula 1 race winner, Juan Pablo Montoya, and presenter, Betty Glover.
The team will offer session‑by‑session breakdowns of the on‑track action and provide digestible explanations of strategy calls, technical developments, and key regulation changes to help fans understand how the rules shape performance and racing outcomes.
Ian Holmes, Chief Media Rights and Broadcasting Officer at Formula 1, said: “F1 TV has become one of the most advanced and versatile streaming platforms in global sport. For 2026, we’re further enhancing the experience by expanding language offerings, improving accessibility in key markets, and continuing to innovate our viewing tools. These investments reflect our commitment to delivering a platform that matches the ambition of the sport and the high expectations of our fans around the world.”
