F2: Lindblad dominates in Barcelona to claim Feature Race victory for Campos Racing

Campos Racing’s Arvid Lindblad was at his dominant best on Sunday morning in Barcelona, converting his maiden pole position into a first Formula 2 Feature Race victory.
The Red Bull Junior made a brilliant start from the front to keep the lead into Turn 1, managing the race perfectly before pulling out a four-second gap on second-placed Sebastián Montoya in the closing stages.

With Invicta Racing’s Leonardo Fornaroli having stopped on track, a late Safety Car was required, only for it to be withdrawn on the final lap – Lindblad crossing the line to seal the win.
Montoya finished in second for PREMA Racing ahead of MP Motorsport’s Richard Verschoor, who followed up his Sprint Race victory by ending up third in the Feature.
Jak Crawford and Alexander Dunne made a late charge for the podium on the alternative strategy but wound up fourth and fifth respectively.
Home favourite and Red Bull Junior Josep María Martí finished sixth for Campos, while Kush Maini ended up seventh for DAMS Lucas Oil.

ART Grand Prix drivers Victor Martins and Ritomo Miyata were eighth and ninth, while Alpine Academy member Gabriele Minì rounded out the points for PREMA.
That leaves Dunne in the lead of the Drivers’ Championship on 87 points, three points clear of Verschoor in second, with Lindblad now third on 79 points.
