Charles Leclerc put Ferrari at the top of the timesheets after a thrilling Free Practice 1 for the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix – with all 20 drivers pushing hard straight out of the blocks.
Leclerc stopped the clocks with a 1m 31.763s lap of the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with Lando Norris just 0.076s behind for McLaren, as Carlos Sainz completed the top three – with some lairy moments up and down the field as drivers tested the limits on the ‘green’ track.

Championship leader Max Verstappen was P4, while Yuki Tsunoda raised eyebrows by going P5 – his team mate Daniel Ricciardo, currently batting away questions about his future, backing up RB’s pace by going P7.
In between the two RBs, Oscar Piastri was P6 – the Azerbaijan Grand Prix winner late in getting onto the track after suffering a stuck rear-left wheel on his McLaren.
