MUST-SEE: Albon 'bounces back' from Turn 14 impact after 'silly error'
Toro Rosso driver Alex Albon crashed out less than five minutes into FP2 in Hungary on Friday after this high-speed off at Turn 14...
Albon, one of the wet-weather stars of last weekend's German Grand Prix, was caught out by the damp conditions, having been 14th fastest, right behind team mate Daniil Kvyat, in FP1.
"I made a mistake at the last corner where I dipped a wheel onto the grass," admitted the Thai rookie. "Honestly, it was a silly error and just a misjudgement. It certainly wasn’t ideal, but in some ways, it’s better today than in FP3.”
The accident left Kvyat to complete as much of Toro Rosso's programme as possible, with the Russian ultimately running 22 laps on his way to tenth in the timesheets.
