PADDOCK INSIDER: The battle at the front heats up as driver market questions remain – the climax to the 2024 season starts now

Blustery, overcast conditions greeted the Formula 1 paddock fraternity as they returned from the summer break. But the cold at Zandvoort – home of the Dutch Grand Prix – did little to dampen an overwhelming sense of enthusiasm for the climax to 2024 season.
After an inauspicious start to the year that saw Red Bull fly out of the blocks and set an ominous tone, the chasing pack have hunted them down with seven different drivers triumphing in the first 14 races to blow things wide open.
