Pierre Gasly's consistency sparking Alpine betting market boost
Three races down and Gasly has picked up points in every one this season.

After a difficult final season using Renault power, there were high hopes that Alpine could make a significant step forward this year by switching to Mercedes.
With a talent like Pierre Gasly behind the wheel, we’re already seeing that improvement before our eyes after just three races.
For the first time in his career, Gasly has picked up points in each of the first three Grand Prix races of the season and, having amassed just 22 points throughout the whole 2025 season, he has already added 15 to his tally this year.
Following a promising pre-season programme, Gasly’s campaign got off to an inauspicious start as he qualified in 14th place at the Australian Grand Prix.
Better was to come in China, where Gasly finished sixth and another strong performance was delivered in Japan, as he ended seventh in both Qualifying and the main race.
The battle to be the top midfield team was always going to be a fierce one this season, but the stakes have been raised by Red Bull's troubled start to the year.
That means those at the head of the midfield fight can aim for the top seven - or even higher if one of the so-called ‘Big Six’ encounters an issue.
At Suzuka, Gasly was able to hold off four-time World Champion Max Verstappen for much of the race in what would have been a hugely motivational result for the Alpine team.

Gasly is currently priced at 25/1 (26.0, +2500) to win a Grand Prix this season, which shows plenty of respect for a man who seems to make the best of chaotic situations, including his victory in the 2020 Italian Grand Prix.
However, Gasly should continue to be of interest in the top six finish market for individual Grand Prix races, while a podium isn’t out of the question at some point and could be worth a speculative bet in races where rain is forecast.
The Sao Paulo Grand Prix is not until November 8, but that could be a date to circle on the calendar with regards to backing Gasly. The Frenchman has picked up points in five of his last six visits, including two podium finishes.
