Charles Leclerc maintained his pole position advantage as the lights went out to start Sunday afternoon’s Belgian Grand Prix, leading the way from Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez.
Leclerc enjoyed a smooth launch from the P1 grid slot to win the race to La Source, where Hamilton got the jump on Perez, giving the Ferrari driver some crucial breathing space up front.

With Leclerc free from any slipstreaming behind, it was left to Hamilton and Perez to squabble over P2, while Lando Norris endured a tricky start as he ran over the gravel and lost several places.
