Russell to start from Austria pit lane

Williams have confirmed that George Russell will start Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix from the pit lane, after damage was found on his car following qualifying.
The team determined they needed to change the front wing assembly on the British rookie’s car under parc ferme conditions, and given the new part is a slightly different specification to the one it is replacing, Russell must start from the pit lane.
Russell was set to start from the penultimate row of the grid, having incurred a three-place grid drop for impeding Daniil Kvyat in qualifying.
