Sauber to reveal 2019 car at Barcelona testing

The car that Kimi Raikkonen will race in Sauber colours for the first time in 18 years will be unveiled just 40 minutes before Formula 1 pre-season testing begins at Barcelona on February 18…
The Swiss team enjoyed a revival of fortunes last year, ending the season eighth in the constructors' championship, but more promisingly with a car that was the fourth best on pure pace.
Raikkonen returns to the team that gifted him his Formula 1 debut in 2001 in what will be an all-new line-up, with Italian driver Antonio Giovinazzi getting his first full-time F1 deal having previously made two starts for Sauber.
Sauber are the first team to announce they will wait until the first test before officially pulling the covers off their 2019 challenger in the Barcelona pit lane at 8.20am local, but the fifth to confirm their plans.
Renault are currently set to be the first to launch, with an event planned for February 12th, with Racing Point to present their livery and new identity the following day.
McLaren have opted for a Valentine’s Day reveal, a day ahead of Ferrari and four days before pre-season testing begins.
