The Qatar Grand Prix weekend was non-stop action, with the return of the Sprint adding lots of extra wheel-to-wheel racing and plenty of on-track incidents. The airwaves were filled all weekend long with a whole range of emotions – from total despair to unbridled joy.
For Max Verstappen it was plenty of the latter, as his points in the Sprint saw him secure a third World Championship crown. You wouldn't have known it in the Sprint itself though, as his single-minded focus saw him only care about hunting down Oscar Piastri for the win.
Speaking of the young Aussie, he had a few things to say himself after grabbing P1 in the Sprint Shootout, and following that up with his first F1 win.
That was the good – but there was plenty of bad too.
Logan Sargeant and Liam Lawson were left red faced after spinning out by themselves on Saturday, there was frustration aplenty in qualifying when lap times started getting deleted, while Fernando Alonso was left with a bit of a sore behind after taking 'sitting in the hot seat' a bit literally...
