Pirelli have revealed the tyre allocations for this year’s Formula 1 Grosser Preis von Deutschland 2016 at Hockenheim, and once again supersoft tyres dominate the selections.
Just as for this week’s race in Hungary, Ferrari will have the most sets of the red-marked rubber of any team – nine, along with three sets of softs and one set of mediums.
That compares to the eight sets of supersofts, four sets of softs and one set of mediums selected by both Mercedes and Red Bull.
Force India are the only team to have selected more than one set of the mediums, with the Silverstone-based squad taking three sets of the white-marked rubber, four sets of softs and just six sets of supersofts.
The teams must have at least one set of softs and one set of mediums available for the race.
