TECH WEEKLY: How F1’s regulations changes made it increasingly difficult for Ricciardo to find his old Red Bull form


Driving style and the technical details of F1 car design may seem on the surface to be two completely separate subjects. But they are intricately linked and this certainly contributed to Daniel Ricciardo’s downfall over the last few seasons.
Ricciardo – who has been stood-down by Red Bull as an RB driver and will be replaced from the next race by Liam Lawson – enjoyed a proud career in his five years in the senior Red Bull team, winning seven Grands Prix there.
