Mercedes’ Montreal upgrade made a resounding debut, as the W17 showed an increased performance advantage over its rivals.
Although comprising several new parts, from front wing to diffuser, it was one single package designed primarily to increase the car’s spread of downforce in all conditions, particularly at the rear.
