Max Verstappen’s retirement from Australian Grand Prix in the opening laps, along with Sergio Perez’s P6 start from the grid, set up an exciting battle for the race win and resulted in a very different looking podium.
Ferrari finished the race on the top two steps closely followed by Lando Norris, with all of the top three showing the speed capable of taking the fastest lap (ultimately secured by Charles Leclerc).
