WATCH: Bearman smacks the wall in Baku to bring out red flags in FP3
Ollie Bearman's promising Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend came to an abrupt halt after the Haas super-sub collided with the barriers in FP3.
After a stellar showing on Friday, in what is his first full F1 race weekend for the team he will race for next season, the 19-year-old Briton crashed at Turn 1 after overcooking the braking.
Bearman tried desperately to make it into the run-off area at the corner, but couldn't turn enough as the car smacked the wall side-on causing damage to the front left.

"Ollie is okay, obviously very, very frustrated, he just completely overcooked the braking," said Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu immediately after the incident.
"Q1 doesn't really change now because of the dangers of yellow flags. For me, he just needs to reset, get back to what he was doing yesterday and get the confidence back ahead of Q1."
