Sergio Perez is a two-time podium finisher in Azerbaijan, and something of a Baku specialist – and the Mexican showed his nous in the Land of Fire by setting the fastest time in Free Practice 2.

Perez has identified one-lap pace as his main weakness in his new Red Bull RB16B this year. But he showed plenty of that in Baku, stopping the clocks after the FP2 qualifying simulations with a 1m 42.115s, to finish the session 0.101s clear of team mate Max Verstappen after a promising day for the Bulls.
