The first ever Qatar Grand Prix is being run this weekend, with the race a late addition to the 2021 calendar.
Formula 1 cars have never previously run on the Losail International Circuit, while only two of the current drivers – Nikita Mazepin and Sergio Perez – have ever raced on this track, so the first practice session of the race weekend was a step into the unknown for almost everyone.
