Just 0.077 seconds separated Max Verstappen and Lando Norris at the end of Qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix.
Monza produced another thrilling Qualifying session on Saturday afternoon as Red Bull driver Max Verstappen edged out McLaren rival Lando Norris to secure pole position.
Verstappen had led the way after the first Q3 runs at the Temple of Speed, only for Norris to recover from a low-key lap and move to the top of the timesheets on a 1m 18.869s.
That was not the end of it, though, with Verstappen fighting back to clock a 1m 18.792s and deny Norris by just 0.077s – earning the Dutchman a fifth pole of the 2025 season.
