It's the final race of the triple header with the drivers all getting set to contest the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. But before they go out on track, we head to the paddock, where our Weekend Warm-up crew are on hand to preview all the action.
The gang first look at the big news this week from Mercedes, as they announced the departure of their Chief Technical Officer Mike Elliot. They asses the impact that may have on the Silver Arrows before giving their verdict on whether they will be the closest challengers to Red Bull in Brazil.
They also look at the situation inside Red Bull, with there still being speculation regarding Sergio Perez’s place at the team. He had a tough home race in Mexico, where he crashed out in the early stages, but can he bounce back in Brazil?
AlphaTauri’s performance in Mexico is also up for up discussion as they try to continue their fine form this weekend. They are in the battle for P7 in the constructors’ championship but do they have enough to overhaul Williams’ 12-point advantage?
Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, and Alpine all have hopes of scoring in Brazil, and the crew look at each team’s chances in the final Sprint weekend of the season.
For all of this and much more, watch the latest episode of Weekend Warm-up with Laura Winter, James Hinchcliffe, and former F1 race engineer Julien Simon-Chautemps.
