Wolff already thinking about 2027 despite Constructors' Championship win in Brazil
Mercedes clinched their ninth Constructors' Championship in Sao Paulo, but Toto Wolff is already thinking about next season.

Team boss Toto Wolff says he is already thinking about the 2027 season, despite his Mercedes squad clinching their ninth Constructors' Championship in Brazil.
George Russell and Kimi Antonelli finished fourth and fifth in Sao Paulo, securing enough points for the Silver Arrows to claim their first title since 2021, though Wolff said it is not in his character to celebrate.
The result sees Mercedes draw level with Williams on nine championships, with only Ferrari and Mclaren having won more teams' titles – 16 and 10, respectively.
The whole trackside team celebrated on the podium to mark the occasion but, speaking afterwards to F1 TV, Wolff says his mind is on why they didn’t do better in the race itself.

“I'm not celebrating!" he explained. "No, I'm fully on it already. I mean, my team says to me that I'm miserable because I never get to celebrate these moments.
"When the race was finished, Bradley [Lord – Deputy Team Principal] said to me, 'You've got to put at least a smile on your face for the cameras' and I said, 'I can't, you know, this is me!'
"I'm just thinking 'what went wrong in this race? Why have we underperformed? And what can we do for Las Vegas and next year?' But that's just part of my character.”
With nine Constructors' titles won by the Brackley-based outfit, Wolff is now tied with Frank Williams – something the Austrian never thought was possible.
"I had a close relationship with Frank, and to be there, it's amazing," he said. "I can't believe it.
"There's some of our people that have won more than nine, that have been with Brawn, that have been winning with Honda, and they have more. So, yeah, I take it. It's great."

Wolff praised the whole team, both trackside and at the factories in Brackley and Brixworth, for all their hard work in returning Mercedes to the top.
"When I think about the people in our team, what we have in common is an absolute determination to find every inch of performance in every area," he said. "It could be in finance, it could be in aerodynamics. Everybody is constantly driving forward.
"At the same time, we maintain our values. We want to do things the right way, we want to do it with humility, integrity and respect.
"That's something you see when you look at great sporting teams from the past, they were able to achieve success while maintaining that kind of team culture. And that's why I'm proud of everyone in the team."
