Take a look at this season's cars as they took part in day one of the Barcelona Shakedown.
Formula 1 heralded a new era as a number of teams took to the track for day one of the Barcelona Shakedown, putting their new-look 2026 challengers to the test.
In a change from last season, all 11 teams have been offered the chance to gather crucial data in both Barcelona and Bahrain, with the Spanish circuit hosting a five-day shakedown. Each squad can only test for three of those days and some – including McLaren – have opted to wait until later in the week, while Williams will miss out entirely.
As the battle to maximise the performance of the smaller, lighter cars heats up, those who chose to venture out on day one clocked their first laps of the season at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
