TECH WEEKLY: How Mercedes and Red Bull squeezed further performance out of their Singapore upgrades
Mark Hughes and illustrator Giorgio Piola give an insight into the revised front wings brought to the Singapore Grand Prix by Mercedes and Red Bull.


Red Bull and Mercedes were the only two teams to list new development parts at Singapore – including revised front wings for both cars.
The wings of each car are very different, and this applied before and after their respective updates. Each team was simply taking their existing concept further, trying to squeeze further performance from the car with minimal extra development time as resources are concentrated on 2026.
