Toro Rosso's name change to AlphaTauri confirmed in provisional 2020 entry list

Scuderia Toro Rosso will become Scuderia AlphaTauri for 2020, following the publication of the provisional 2020 entry list by the FIA.
Having debuted as Scuderia Toro Rosso back in 2006 – following the Red Bull company’s purchase of the Faenza-based Minardi team – 2020 will see the team morph into AlphaTauri, named for Red Bull’s burgeoning clothing brand.

It remains to be seen whether the name change will affect the team’s livery – but personnel-wise, the team’s drivers will remain the same, with Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat having been confirmed at the squad in the lead up to the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix.
Both drivers have helped Toro Rosso to a first in their 13-year history in 2019, with Kvyat and Gasly's German and Brazilian podiums marking the first time Toro Rosso have taken multiple rostrums across a season.
